How does it work?

Treatment involves injecting a small amount of Botox or Dysport, a neuromodulator, into the targeted areas of the face. This relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles, leading to a smoother, more youthful appearance.

One of the main advantages is that it is a non-surgical treatment that requires minimal-to-no downtime. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after their treatment. Some minor swelling, redness and bruising can occur but usually subside within 24-72 hours. Results can be seen within a week and typically last anywhere from 3-4 months.

The procedure can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes.

At My Aesthetic Lab, a provider will assess your individual needs to determine the appropriate dosage and treatment plan for you. The 2 types of neuromodulators currently offered are Botox and Dysport.

If you are looking for a way to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, this may be an effective option for you. To learn more about the benefits of this popular treatment please contact My Aesthetic Lab or book a consultation online.
