What is it?

Treatment involves injecting a small amount of a neuromodulator, into the targeted areas of the face. This helps to relax the muscles that cause wrinkles, leading to a smoother, more youthful appearance.

The injections can provide very natural results without changing your facial structure. You will still look like yourself, but with fewer wrinkles.

Common cosmetic treatments include:

• Lines around the eyes, a.k.a. crow’s feet, which commonly show with smiling

How does it work?

Treatment involves injecting a small amount of Botox or Dysport, a neuromodulator, into the targeted areas of the face. This relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles, leading to a smoother, more youthful appearance.

One of the main advantages is that it is a non-surgical treatment that requires minimal-to-no downtime. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after their treatment. Some minor swelling, redness and bruising can occur but usually subside within 24-72 hours. Results can be seen within a week and typically last anywhere from 3-4 months.

The procedure can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes.
